Roll bar made in Italy specifically for the Giulia GTAm.

The Roll-bar is an additional protective device, provided for by the homologations of sports cars intended for competitions.

The roll-bar has a three-layer paintwork, which enhances its sartorial appearance, blending well with the know-how content expressed by the Alfa Romeo GTAm red industrial production.

The acronym GTAm stands for Gran Turismo Alleggerita modificata. The Giulia GTAm is characterized by being more focused on track use, having front seats equipped with racing belts, a roll bar instead of the rear sofa, a large wing on the trunk lid and side and rear windows in Lexan.

The extensive adoption of ultra-lightweight materials such as carbon fiber, aluminum and composites has enabled the GTAm to achieve a power-to-weight ratio of 2.82 kg/hp, thanks to a weight reduction of 100 kg. These measures have meant that the acceleration times in 0–100 km/h dropped from 3.9 to 3.6 seconds.

The roll bar is rear arched, effectively protecting the rider. Product not FIA homologated.

The assembly of the roll bar must be carried out by competent personnel, strengthening the mounting points with gussets welded to the body. In addition to protecting the occupants’ heads, it also stiffens the body.
